More than 1.7 million museum objects remain in the temporarily occupied territories

Today, over 1.7 million museum exhibits are still in the russian-occupied areas of Ukraine. 

Anastasia Bondar, Deputy Minister of Culture and Information Policy for Digital Development, Digital Transformations, and Digitalization, announced this at a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine. 

“As of now, more than 1.7 million museum objects remain in the temporarily occupied territories. So far, about half a million museum artifacts from the state part of the holdings of some museum collections have been evacuated,” Bondar said.
