Ministry of Culture and Information Policy Works to Ensure That Sanctions Against russian Media Apply in the Maximum Number of Countries
The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy continues to work on a new package of sanctions, which is currently being prepared in Ukraine. Taras Shevchenko, Deputy Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, made this report during the briefing in Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.
“We are also in a close dialogue with our international partners, with governments of other countries, to ensure that sanctions against russian media are applied in the maximum number of countries. At times we find that there are still white spots somewhere and we have recently applied, in particular, to Switzerland, so that the full-featured sanctions are imposed on Russia Today, including on the territory of this country,” Taras Shevchenko explained.
