“Ministry for Veteran Affairs Initiates Establishing a Global Psychological Counseling Center in Borodianka,” Yulia Laputina
A Global Mental Health Center should be established in Borodianka. Yulia Laputina, Minister for Veteran Affairs, shared this idea during her briefing at Ukraine Media Center.
The government official said it was extremely important to set up a psychological rehabilitation system for the Ukrainians.
Ms. Laputina also told that the russians utterly destroyed the rehabilitation center for veterans and their family members in Borodianka. For this reason, the Ministry calls for international partners to help Ukrainians establish a provisional center or even a new Global Mental Health Center.
“A Global Mental Health Center should be established in Borodianka because, on the one hand, the atrocities and acts of genocide perpetrated there by the russian army is a phenomenon that still must be investigated. On the other hand, there is a huge opportunity to help residents recover and rehabilitate,” Yulia Laputina summarized.
