“Manage Change” initiative helps women thrive in transport careers and business

Female professionals working in Ukraine’s transport-related industries are invited to join a new training program aimed at fostering innovation and supporting entrepreneurial initiatives and sector development. The program is designed to help transport workers advance their careers, explore business opportunities, and bring socially beneficial projects to life.

Launched by the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, the program, called “Manage Change”, is now accepting applications. Interested candidates should submit an application, cover letter, and resume by December 21.

Training kicks off in the second half of January, combining guidance from experts and mentors with hands-on learning. The program spans 40 hours across three sessions: two online and one in person. Participants are expected to attend all sessions to fully benefit from the program.

Twenty-five women who demonstrate relevant experience and a strong drive for professional growth will be shortlisted for the program.

Eligible participants include:

– Leaders and managers in transportation services or relevant departments in state-owned, municipally-owned enterprises, or private companies;

– Local government officials working in transport, infrastructure, or economic development;

– Civil servants and ministry representatives engaged in transport-related sectors;

– Educators and researchers in transport, logistics, urban planning, or sustainable development;

– Graduates of professional reskilling programs seeking managerial or leadership roles;

– Civil society advocates and experts involved in transport infrastructure development.
