Lviv Polytechnic tops Ukrainian universities in students enrolled in tuition-free programs

Lviv Polytechnic National University has enrolled the highest number of bachelor’s students under government funding programs this year, leading all other universities in Ukraine.

Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Mykola Trofymenko announced the figures during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine. 

“Kyiv’s higher education institutions take the next spots – Polytechnic Institute and Shevchenko University are second and third, followed by Ivan Franko National University of Lviv in fourth and Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute closing the top five,” Trofimenko said.

Meanwhile, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv leads the country in the number of applications received, with Lviv Polytechnic ranking second and Taras Shevchenko National University third.
