Less wind and more sun: Meteorologist announces upcoming summer warm-up  

Weather conditions in Ukraine are expected to improve starting Sunday, June 29.

Nataliia Ptukha, spokesperson for the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, shared this forecast during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine. 

“Starting Sunday, a high-pressure system (anticyclone) from Europe will begin spreading across Ukraine, bringing more stable weather. There will be less wind – unlike now, when passing atmospheric fronts bring cloudiness, precipitation, and uncomfortably strong winds along with moderate temperatures. Next week, the situation will stabilize: calmer winds, clearer skies, more sunny days, and rising temperatures,” Ptukha stated.
