Kyiv and Lviv dominate rankings for Ukraine’s new home construction

Kyiv and Lviv remain the front-runners in Ukraine’s residential construction market, according to data from the LUN real estate listing website.

As of today, sales are open in 2,149 primary market projects nationwide, including nearly 1,500 apartment and 663 cottage complexes, Olena Unanian, head of the Department for Relations with Developers at LUN Real Estate Company, said during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.

“Kyiv and the surrounding region account for 27% of all residential complexes currently on the market. Another 18% are located in Lviv,” Unanian noted. “Next in line are Odesa, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Khmelnytskyi.”

She added that Kyiv and its suburbs also lead the country in the development of cottage homes.
