KHARKIV RESCUERS MADE 169 DEPARTURES, 12 OF WHICH WERE CONNECTED WITH ENEMY SHELLINGS: SPOKESMAN OF THE MAIN OFFICE OF SESU IN THE KHARKIV REGION E. VASYLENKO

Yesterday, September 18, Kharkiv Media Hub held a weekly briefing by the spokesman of the Main Office of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, Yevhen Vasylenko, who told about the situation in the Kharkiv region.

According to the speaker, in the period from September 11 to 17, units of the Kharkiv Garrison of the State Emergency Service made 169 departures, 12 of which were related to enemy shelling.

Over the past week, Kharkiv rescuers provided assistance and evacuated 20 people affected by fires. Unfortunately, 3 people died.

According to the speaker, sappers of the State Emergency Service continue to demine the territory of the region. From September 11 to 17, 248 engagements were carried out, 467 munitions were neutralized. In general, during the period of the large-scale invasion of the russians on the territory of Ukraine, Kharkiv sappers surveyed 3,606 hectares of territory, almost 2,600 km of power lines, discovered and eliminated more than 77,500 explosive objects.

Also, the spokesman of the Main Office of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region reported that one detonation of agricultural machinery using an unknown explosive device occurred in the village of Blahodatne of the Izyum district last week, as a result of which a civilian was injured. Her health is satisfactory.

Yevhen Vasylenko appealed to citizens not to expose themselves to danger and not to touch objects that could pose a danger to life and health. For the same reason, the speaker warned the residents of Kharkiv region, in particular the de-occupied territories, against traveling along unexplored and unverified routes.
