It will be incredibly difficult to solve the peace equation without China – Vadym Denysenko
It will be difficult to solve the issue of restoring peace without China’s involvement.
Political scientist Vadym Denysenko made this statement during a discussion at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.
“If we look at the future peace talks, at the Peace Formula as a certain equation, we simply have to tell ourselves whether it is possible to solve this equation without China. If we believe that we can solve this issue without China, then we do not need to pay so much attention to the Global South. If we believe that this is impossible, then regardless of the circumstances, we will need to pay sufficiently serious attention at least to China, and ideally to several countries of the Global South. I believe that it will be incredibly difficult to solve this equation without China,” he said.
Vadym Denysenko emphasized that since 2014, Ukraine has had no relations with China. However, there is some good news today, particularly the meeting of Foreign Ministry representatives in China.
“De facto, over the past 10 years, we have had virtually no policy toward China in Ukraine. And the fact that there was a commission at the level of the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, which, as they say, visited China with rather good results, is a really big plus,” the political scientist added.
