It is impossible to restore Kyiv’s power generation capacity in the near future – Oleksandr Kharchenko

Months will be required to stabilize the energy system. Oleksandr Kharchenko, the director of the Energy Industry Research Center, made this statement at the Media Center Ukraine.

“Delivering a significant amount of electricity to Kyiv is a complex task. It may be possible to establish stabilized rolling blackout schedules within two to three weeks, assuming successful air defense operations. However, this will require an extremely intensive effort,” he said.
