In the last week, almost 200 cases of COVID-19 were registered in the Lviv region
Three people died. There are 147 people undergoing inpatient treatment. The Lviv region has enough free coronavirus vaccines from different companies. The pandemic has eased, but the threat of new outbreaks remains, said Natalia Ivanchenko, General Director of the Lviv Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health, at a briefing at the Ukraine-Lviv Media Center.
“Unfortunately, only 8% of people in the Lviv region received the first booster dose, and less than 1% received the second booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The coronavirus has not disappeared, although the number of cases has decreased. The more people are vaccinated, the fewer cases of hospitalisation will occur. Today, the Lviv region has enough of these vaccines: CoronaVac, Pfizer-Comirnaty and Johnson & Johnson”, said Natalia Ivanchenko, General Director of the Lviv Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health.
?Media Center is located at 20 Ruska Street and functions as a co-working space from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
