In Melitopol occupiers threaten parents with deprivation of parental rights if their children won’t go to school — Ivan Fedorov
Before the first of September, the occupiers are trying to launch the work of kindergartens and schools on the territory of Melitopol, but they are failing at that. Out of 22 schools, only 4 can start working.
Ivan Fedorov, Mayor of Melitopol spoke about this at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.
“They cannot recruit teachers or organizers of the educational process. There’s already information that the occupiers are planning to bring teachers from distant regions of russia,” — he said.
There is a huge shortage of students, so the occupiers opt for two methods. They either intimidate parents with fines and deprivation of parental rights, or they offer RUB 10,000 to parents.
