“In Mariupol, Invaders Brandish Threats with “Unpredictable Consequences” for Speaking Ukrainian,” Ministry of Defense

Invaders keep applying terror and genocide tactics against the Ukrainian population.

Oleksandr Motuzianyk, the spokesperson for Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense, stated this during his briefing at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

 “In occupied Mariupol, the self-proclaimed management of education institutions prohibits children from speaking Ukrainian, threatening them with “unpredictable consequences for children and parents,” he said.

The Ministry of Defense also reported that russia continued its full-scale armed invasion of our country, focused at this stage on reaching administrative boundaries of Luhansk and Donetsk Oblasts, maintaining a land bridge with the occupied Crimean Peninsula via occupied territories of Zaporizhia and Kherson Oblasts, and blocking Ukraine’s shipping routes in the northwestern part of the Black Sea.
