In cooperation with French prosecutors, NABU returned €4 million to the budget

The funds were illegally withdrawn from the Ukraine plant. This was announced by Semen Kryvonos, Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, at the Ukraine Media Center.

“Thanks to cooperation with the French prosecutor’s office, we managed to return about €4 million that had been withdrawn as a result of a scheme at the Ukraine plant. This is the first example of such funds being returned to the budget,” he said.

Semen Kryvonos expressed hope that foreign partners would extradite individuals involved in criminal cases who are hiding in European Union countries and return the money.
