Human rights defenders presented their research on documenting war crimes in the Chernihiv oblast
The human rights organization Educational Human Rights House – Chernihiv, the Foundation for the Support of Fundamental Research NGO, and the Regional Center for Human Rights have presented the findings of their research on documenting war crimes and cluster munition attacks in the Chernihiv oblast settlements. The human rights defenders note that the collected data will be used by national law enforcement agencies and international jurisdiction bodies.
Serhii Burov, the executive director of the Educational Human Rights House – Chernihiv, made this statement at the Media Center Ukraine.
“We are documenting the international crimes committed by russians during the occupation or hostilities. The second report is on the cluster munition attacks on Chernihiv. Our primary task is to collect evidence and facts of potential war crimes,” Burov said.
The research is based on field missions and open-source intelligence investigations.
