Hepatitis B vaccines for children in Ukraine supplied by Global Alliance, Health Ministry says

Ukraine’s supply of Hepatitis B vaccines for children is being provided through support from the Global Alliance for Vaccination, a senior health official confirmed.

Oleksandr Zaika, Head of the Department for Infectious Disease Prevention and Immunization at Ukraine’s Ministry of Health, made the statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine.

“The Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine have held talks with the Global Alliance for Vaccination, signed contracts, and for the past year have been receiving the vaccines in full,” Zaika said. “There’s enough to meet our needs through 2025, and even into the following year.”
