Gasoline prices could drop by 2 hryvnias in early September – Serhii Kuiun

The global market has stabilized since the June conflict between Iran and Israel, when oil prices surged to $75 per barrel. The cost of oil has now returned to previous levels of $67 per barrel.

Serhii Kuiun, an expert on the fuel market, stated this during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.

“All prerequisites are now in place for retail fuel prices to decrease. Gasoline has the greatest potential for reduction — we can expect a drop of up to two hryvnias in early September. For diesel fuel, a decrease of around one hryvnia can be anticipated,” Kuiun noted.
