Fuel excise tax increase to have minimal impact on agricultural product costs – Serhii Kuiun

Fuel prices and taxes do not impact the cost of agricultural products in a critical way.

Serhii Kuiun, fuel market expert made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine.

“My personal impression and belief is that the impact of fuel prices and fuel taxes on the cost of agricultural products is somewhat exaggerated. We conducted several studies and the fuel component has minimal impact on the cost of these agricultural products, even taking into account transportation, etc.,” he noted.
