Frosts as low as -19°C expected at night in parts of Ukraine from tomorrow until January 14 – Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center

The cyclone that brought recent rain and ice is now moving out. Nataliia Ptukha, Head of the Media Communication Department of Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, stated this at the Media Center Ukraine.

“Starting tomorrow, air temperatures across Ukraine will begin to drop. The cooling will start in the western regions and reach the southeastern parts of the country by the end of the week. In some areas, overnight temperatures will drop to as low as -19°C,” she noted.

Ptukha also reminded that temperature readings can fluctuate and advised against relying on weather forecasts more than a week in advance.
