“France and Germany Made a Public Announcement of Their Support for Ukraine on the Path to EU Membership,” Germany’s Ambassador to Ukraine

During their recent visit to Ukraine, dignitaries from France and Germany publicly announced their support for Ukraine on the path to EU membership. Anka Feldhusen, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Ukraine, told this during her briefing at Media Center Ukraine.

“It is important that all our politicians visiting Kyiv now see the destruction left in Irpin by russians with their own eyes. I think that Germans of our generation cannot imagine this to be possible in our times. I think it was important for the Chancellor to have this impression before his negotiations with President Zelenskyy. Secondly, I was glad we made this public announcement of our support during the press conference. I have been rooting for Ukraine’s EU membership for a long time,” Anka Feldhusen summarized.
