Four countries simultaneously stopped supplying fuel to Ukraine for various reasons – political and situational.
Hungary was only the first country in a certain fuel blockade of Ukraine. Currently, supplies from Poland have been suspended for a week. This was stated by Serhiy Kuyun, an expert on the fuel market, at the Ukraine Media Center.
“Romania has closed exports, Moldova has closed exports. In other areas, there is a pause, and it is unclear what will happen. The government must intervene here. We need to talk to our partners. We have contracts, but they are not being fulfilled. Everyone is concerned about whether they will have enough resources,” the expert notes.
Serhiy Kuyun notes that Ukraine will now be forced to look for fuel in more distant markets.
