Farmers in Donetsk oblast suffered over UAH 6 billion in losses due to the war – Denys Marchuk

The damage from russian attacks continues to escalate, forcing farmers to relocate and abandon critical production assets.

Denys Marchuk, deputy chairman of the Ukrainian Agri Council, stated this during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.

“For example, the Donetsk oblast alone has lost over six billion hryvnia since the full-scale invasion began. Cultivated land is continuously shrinking. Due to the enemy’s offensive actions, producers have relocated, often leaving production assets on the front line,” Marchuk said.
