Explosive ordnance in Ukraine causes 703 injuries and 303 deaths
In Ukraine, explosive ordnance has resulted in 703 injuries and 303 deaths, according to the National Mine Action Authority. The casualty figures include 15 children.
Serhii Reva, Head of the Department for Organizational Work on Humanitarian Demining at Ukraine’s State Emergency Service, revealed this information during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine.
Reva reported, “The National Authority’s secretariat has confirmed that 703 individuals have been injured and 303 have been killed by explosive devices. Tragically, among the fatalities are 15 children.”
Oleksandr Khorunzhiy, Press Officer of the State Emergency Service, added that the majority of victims are men. Of the 15 children who lost their lives, 14 were boys and one was a girl.
