Everyone who applies will receive the ‘Winter Thousand’ – Ministry of Social Policy

Over 15.8 million Ukrainians have submitted applications to receive the “Winter Thousand”, a one-time payment of 1,000 UAH from the state. This is 1.8 million more applicants than last year.

Tetiana Kiriienko, Deputy Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine, provided this information during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.

“We are preparing to fulfill all applications, although we expect the number of applicants (for the 1,000 UAH payment – ed.) to be higher this year than last. But I want to assure everyone that all applications will be processed, and everyone will receive their winter support,” Kyryienko said.
