Energy facility restoration: Experts report on progress
Restoration efforts at Ukraine’s primary energy facilities are progressing as planned, with specialists working at an unprecedented pace.
This was highlighted during a session at Media Center Ukraine.
“The current pace of restoration work at key facilities is on schedule. Our teams are achieving remarkable feats. We have instances that defy logical and physical expectations, yet our people are performing miracles,” said Yurii Boiko, Advisor to the Prime Minister of Ukraine and Member of the Ukrenergo Supervisory Board.
Oleksandr Kharchenko, Director at the Energy Industry Research Center, emphasized that the restoration efforts are being completed far quicker than both European and pre-war Ukrainian standards.
“Under typical European company standards, the tasks we’re discussing would take nine months. Pre-war Ukrainian standards would have required five to six months. Now, these tasks are being accomplished in just five weeks. Our international colleagues, who observe our reconstruction efforts, are not only impressed but find the speed unbelievable,” he stated.
