Enemy forces shelled State Border Guard Service units over 150,000 times in 2025, a twofold increase from the previous year

Last year, the enemy carried out more than 150,000 attacks against units of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine using various means. Andrii Demchenko, spokesman of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, stated this at Media Center Ukraine.

“Compared to 2024, the number of attacks on the Border Guard Service doubled. In 2025, the enemy significantly increased drone attacks. This applies to both the frontline and border areas. Regarding the border with russia specifically, the enemy is striking not only at Ukrainian defenders’ positions but also at border settlements,” he noted.
