Enemy continues to shell communities of Mykolaiv oblast – Vitalii Kim

On the night of July 20, the enemy attacked Mykolaiv. Two people were killed and 19 got injured, including three children, as a result of the attack on residential blocks in the center of the city. The enemy hasn’t stopped shelling and continues to attack communities in the region both yesterday and today.

Vitalii Kim, Head of Mykolaiv Oblast Military Administration, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“Yesterday, the city of Mykolaiv was attacked, probably with Kh-22 missiles, three missiles hit the central part of the city, the residential areas. Two people died, 19 were injured, including three children. The married couple who died were sleeping at night in the three-story building, which is completely destroyed and cannot be restored. Another rocket hit the garage cooperative flying between nine-storey buildings, and it’s a miracle that no one was injured,” he said.

Vitalii Kim also noted that the occupiers have been shelling Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities both yesterday and today. According to him, at least one person was injured, and residential buildings were destroyed. Vitalii Kim pointed out that “there is constant shelling from the Kinburn Spit.”
