Electricity Supply Has Been Restored by 80% in the De-Occupied Territories of Kharkiv Region, and We Plan to Reach 100% in a Month

The electricity supply request is the very first from all localities in the Kharkiv region that have just been liberated or were liberated a few months ago. Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration, stated this during the briefing in the Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“As of today, electricity supply has already been restored by 80%, gas supply has been restored by 75% in the de-occupied territories. We have already started electricity restoration in the north, in Derhachivska community: it was quite difficult, since the territory was mined there, the State Emergency Service units worked under extremely difficult conditions. 51,000 explosive objects have already been cleared across the region, but there are still quite a large number of areas that need to be cleared. Efficiency of power supply restoration directly depends on this. We plan to reach 100 % restoration of electricity supply in the de-occupied territories in about a month,” Oleh Syniehubov said.
