Economic Experts Predict Resolution of the Ukrainian Seaport Blockade by Fall

Tymofii Mylovanov, President of Kyiv School of Economics and Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, stated this during his briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“As of today, there are chances that the Ukrainian grain carriers will leave the Black Sea ports in UN-led convoys. Our products influence the world economy not only in the area of conflict. The major goal today is to open the seaports in the Odesa area. Perhaps, this situation can be resolved by autumn,” Mylovanov said.

Mylovanov indicated that Ukraine exports 2.5 million tonnes of grain per month, while it used to export 5 million tonnes of grain earlier.
