Dry conditions to persist across Ukraine through week’s end, says weather center 

No significant precipitation is expected across Ukraine through the end of this week, according to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center. 

Nataliia Ptukha, spokesperson for the center, provided the update during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine.

“The calendar winter has arrived, but it’s off to a calm, monotonous, and gray start,” Ptukha explained. “This weather pattern is driven by an anticyclone—a high-pressure system. Its center is situated northeast of Ukraine, and its ridge is extending over our territory, ensuring dry conditions or at least no substantial precipitation through the end of the workweek,” she said.
