Digital services use and adoption among Ukraine’s seniors surge to 39%, UNDP reports
Nearly 39% of older Ukrainians now use digital services, marking a significant uptick in adoption among the country’s senior population.
Recent surveys indicate that 22% of Ukrainians overall still avoid digital services because they lack the necessary knowledge, according to Olena Ursu, who heads the United Nations Development Programme’s Democratic Governance Project Group in Ukraine. She shared the findings during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.
“Over the past year, surveys have shown the biggest increase in the use of digital services among older people,” Ursu said. “Last year, it was 26%, and this year it is 39%.”
