Despite the success of russia’s defense industry, its military potential is declining – Ivan Havryliuk
Ivan Havryliuk, Lieutenant General and Ukraine’s First Deputy Minister of Defense, made this statement during the Fourth International Forum of the International Crimea Platform Expert Network.
“Despite russia’s advantage in mobilization resources, large weapon stockpiles, and the intensive and successful development of its defense industry, russia’s military potential is gradually declining. Everyone can see that military equipment hasn’t been used on the frontline in recent months. On the Kharkiv axis, the russians attempted to assault but were destroyed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ unmanned systems and artillery even before reaching the line of engagement,” he emphasized.
At the same time, Havryliuk noted that one should not underestimate russia’s ability to master new means of warfare or the aggressor country’s population’s willingness to fight.
