Culture Minister against closing Bulgakov Museum in Kyiv

Oleksandr Tkachenko, Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine made this statement at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

  “I am surprised to read the statement of the (National) Writers’ Union. I don’t know how Bulgakov Museum in Kyiv wronged them. Bulgakov is from Kyiv. So, his works of art contained characters’ dialogue about the liberation struggle at the beginning of the 20th century. But I think the museum is not to blame. It definitely shouldn’t be touched,” — he said.
