Civil society advocates for increased patient funding next year

During a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine, Inna Ivanenko, the chief executive officer of the “Patients of Ukraine” Charitable Foundation, stated that funding for patients receiving state-funded treatment needs to be increased for next year.

“Next year, we will not be able to cover the needs of 100% of patients who require treatment. The money allocated for treatment in 2026 will not be enough for everyone. Or there will be enough for everyone, but not for the whole year. Therefore, we will have to work to increase funding for 2026,” she said.
