By winter, electricity import corridor may expand significantly – Yurii Boiko

Work is currently underway to expand the electricity import corridor.

Yurii Boiko, Adviser to the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Member of the Ukrenergo Supervisory Board, made this statement during a discussion at Media Center Ukraine.

“Work is underway to expand the electricity import corridor. Today, its maximum capacity reaches 1.7 GW. For now, I would not like to specify which numbers we will be able to agree on for the winter period, but there are all prerequisites for this corridor to be significantly expanded,” Yurii Boiko said.
