“Businesses Will Be Compensated UAH 6,500 per Month per Employed Displaced Person,” Olena Shuliak

Ukrainian businesses will be paid compensation for each employed displaced person at a rate of UAH 6,500 per month for the first two months. Olena Shuliak, Chair of Sluha Narodu (Servant of the People) Party, stated this at her press briefing at Ukraine Media Center. 

According to her, the government will encourage companies to employ internally displaced people and introduce a shift system to employ as many people as possible. The government will also try to support these businesses with government contracts.
