Belarus seen leaning toward China over russia – Research Solutions

Belarus’ sympathies are now most closely aligned with China rather than russia, and the country is not pursuing closer integration with Moscow, according to the Research Solutions network. Experts attribute this shift to a longstanding pattern in which Belarusians gravitate toward nations with which they maintain the strongest practical cooperation.

Speaking at the Media Center Ukraine, Ihar Tyshkevich, a political analyst and co-founder of the network, said, “Belarus has no desire to be part of the russian federation, despite polling data russia publishes.
