Attack on journalist Yurii Nikolov’s apartment: National Police identifies those involved in the case
Law enforcement officers have determined assailants attempted to break into the Kyiv apartment of a Ukrainian investigative journalist. In particular, they were able to identify four direct perpetrators of the attack.
Ivan Vyhivskyi, Chief of the National Police of Ukraine, made this report during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.
“Regarding journalist Nikolov, over the weekend we actually identified four culprits for being directly responsible for the incident, who approached Nikolov’s apartment to stick messages to his doors. At the moment, investigative actions are being carried out, and seized cell phones are being examined,” he said.
As a reminder, on January 15, Ukrainian investigative journalist Yurii Nikolov said that unknown intruders had attempted to break into his Kyiv apartment. In particular, it became known that the attackers arrived in Kyiv, came to the victim’s place of residence, covered the front door with leaflets, and demanded that the man come out to them.
