At the Memorial Cemetery there will be a separate sector for temporary burial of unidentified remains of fallen defenders – Artur Dobroserdov

The remains of fallen servicemen, not identified within a year, will be temporarily buried in a specially designated section of the Memorial Cemetery.

This was announced by Artur Dobroserdov, the commissioner for missing persons under special circumstances, during a discussion at the Media Center Ukraine.

“There are indeed many questions regarding the storage of remains, and the procedure stipulates that if a body remains unidentified for one year, further storage can be done through temporary burial. It has now been decided that these temporary burials will take place at the Memorial Cemetery, where a separate plot of land has been allocated, a special sector where these remains will be stored. But our task is to do everything possible to find out, to conduct an examination and to identify the person with certainty,” he said.
