– The first anonymous sociological survey on sexual harassment in the workplace;


Details: An anonymous sociological survey on sexual harassment in the workplace will be conducted in Odesa for the first time. The project is implemented by the NGO “Culture of Democracy” within the framework of the “Coalition 1325 – Odesa Region” and the National and Regional Action Plans of the UN Security Council  “Zhinki. Myr. Bezpeka”(Women. Peace. Security). The survey will be conducted among military personnel, police officers, officials, doctors, cultural workers and students. It will be anonymous and confidential.

The study of sexual harassment in the workplace concerns both women and men, but the majority of victims are women. The results of the survey should show an understanding of the problem and identify ways to overcome it. The project is supported by the Ukrainian Women’s Fund and the Government of Canada.

Why this is interesting:
Rehabilitation is an important component in recovery of wounded servicemen and women. The idea of multidisciplinary rehabilitation involves various specialists, such as neurologists, traumatologists, physiotherapists, rehabilitators, psychologists and many others, coming together. At the same time, the “Lots of Care” project is a step towards providing high-quality rehabilitation for the wounded military. The project aims to raise funds for the high-quality rehabilitation of injured soldiers by selling lots at auctions.
