Andrii Demchenko: We see no regular or significant use of sabotage and reconnaissance groups by the enemy
At present, there is no recorded increase in the activity of the enemy’s sabotage and reconnaissance groups (SRGs).
This was stated by Andrii Demchenko, spokesman for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, at a briefing at the Media Centre Ukraine.
“The activity of hostile SRGs has not increased. In fact, it has decreased over time, and we do not observe regular or significant use of their SRGs. However, the threat from them has not disappeared,” Demchenko noted.
According to the SBGS spokesman, the reduced activity of enemy SRGs is partly due to the operations of the Ukrainian Defence Forces in the Kursk region.
“Speaking of sabotage and reconnaissance groups, yes, I do not exclude that the activity of enemy SRGs has decreased due to the operation of the Ukrainian Defence Forces in the Kursk region,” he added.
