Almost 600 houses have been restored in Kherson region by other regions

About 600 houses have been restored in safe areas of Kherson region as part of the Presidential Program “Side by Side”. This was announced at a briefing at the Ukraine-Odesa Media Center by Oleksandr Tolokonnikov, head of the press office of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

“15 regions agreed to help Kherson region. At first, it was 26 settlements of Kherson region, and now it is 102 settlements. First of all, these are safe regions where artillery and mortar shells do not reach. Almost 600 houses have been restored in these settlements, and 450 more are in the works. When they finish the first stage in 26 settlements, the next 76 settlements will be covered, this is the second stage,” Tolokonnikov said. Roofs are being repaired and windows are being replaced in anticipation of winter. The administration estimates the region’s readiness for the heating season at 85%.
