Alliance for Gender-Responsive Recovery to mobilize nearly 7 billion euros for equality programs – UN Women

During the conference in Rome, the Alliance for Gender-Responsive and Inclusive Recovery demonstrated strong synergy among its partners — governments, international organizations, and businesses — all united by a shared vision and values. Tetiana Kudina, program coordinator at UN Women, stated this during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.

“Alliance members have voiced their commitment to funding initiatives that ensure women’s participation and address their needs in recovery processes. An additional seven million euros in funding was announced to strengthen women’s involvement in political and economic life, enhance the government’s capacity to implement gender-responsive reforms, and expand the network of civil society organizations,” Kudina noted.

The expert emphasized the importance of ensuring these funds are effectively directed toward advancing gender initiatives.
