Air defense troops to receive expedited training in using foreign systems

Yuriy Ihnat, Spokesperson of the Air Force Command of Ukrainian Armed Forces made this statement at Media Center Ukraine-Ukrinform.

“As it happens in times of war, the graduation of pilots and other specialists is expedited,” – he said.

According to Ihnat, Ukraine has special training programs for Air Force troops: “The Western countries are closely following this.”

Air defense specialists have already been trained in using the IRIS-T air defense system, and are currently undergoing training for the Norwegian NASAMS system..
