After the PACE passed its Resolution, russia starts blackmailing the international community — Mariia Mezentseva

Mariia Mezentseva, People’s Deputy of Ukraine, Head of the Permanent Delegation of the Verkhovna Rada to PACE, made this statement in Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“After the PACE passed its Resolution, russia started blackmailing the international community regarding the so-called “grain deal”. Since the PACE Resolution calls on the partner countries, and this was suggested by our Turkish colleagues, to join forces so that this deal can be extended and secured,” she said.

According to the People’s Deputy, the PACE Resolution will have consequences for Georgia and Moldova too, which also suffered from russian aggression at their times.

“It was particularly pleasing that the international community, with no Ukraine’s efforts, began lobbying for creation of the international tribunal to punish the aggressor. We continue this work in Ukraine and involve all international colleagues and partners to use all possible tools provided for by international law,” she added.
