A significant portion of Ukraine’s thermal power generation is damaged – Oleksandr Kharchenko

There have recently been massive attacks on power generation facilities and high-voltage networks, accompanied by drone attacks. Oleksandr Kharchenko, Director of the Energy Industry Research Center, made this statement during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.

“A significant portion of thermal generation is damaged. It’s easier to list what is working than what is not. Restoring this generation will take a considerable amount of time. We are talking about months, not weeks,” Kharchenko noted.
