9-valent HPV vaccine now available in Ukraine, medical procurement says

A 9-valent vaccine against human papillomavirus (HPV) is now available across Ukraine, health officials said.

The vaccine, manufactured in the United States, was confirmed by Oleg Klots, General Manager, State Enterprise Medical Procurement of Ukraine, at the Media Center Ukraine.

“This vaccine arrived a month and a half ago and underwent a full incoming evaluations, including laboratory screening. Last week, we distributed it to all regional disease control and prevention centers. We were unable to deliver it to Kramatorsk due to the security situation, but will reach it next week,” Klots said.
