651 children have been evacuated from dangerous areas in the Kherson region

As part of the forced evacuation, Ukraine ordered, 651 children and their families have already been moved to safety from 23 settlements in the Kherson Oblast since October 24. Currently, 149 more children from 8 settlements need to flee. 

Oleksandr Tolokonnikov, Spokesman for the Kherson Oblast Military Administration, made this report during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“There are 149 children left in 8 settlements. No children remain in 15 settlements, the most dangerous are Beryslav district and Tiahynka community,” he said.

Tolokonnikov added that accompanied by police officers the local social services are currently going door to door to persuade parents to leave with their children.
