41% of Ukrainians acknowledge the possibility of becoming veterans in the future, as per the findings
41% of Ukrainians admit the possibility of qualifying as one having been on active duty in the future, whereas 53% hold the contrary view.
This is evidenced by the results of the fourth nationwide survey conducted by the Ukrainian Veterans Foundation together with the Sociological Group “Rating” presented at the Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.
“Currently, 41% of respondents express openness to potentially becoming veterans. This doesn’t necessarily imply an immediate willingness to enlist in the army or the Armed Forces, but rather an acknowledgment of the prospect of obtaining veteran designation,” highlighted Liubomyr Mysiv, Deputy Director of the Sociological Group “Rating.”
Mysiv underscored that this sentiment is particularly prevalent among young individuals aged 18-35.
