33 people dead, 125 injured in russian attack on Kyiv on July 8
As a result of a massive attack on Ukraine on Monday, July 8, 33 people died in Kyiv.
Svitlana Vodolaha, Head of the Press Service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center of Ukraine.
“In Kyiv on that day (July 8 – Ed.), 33 people died, 125 people were injured, 10 of them children. We saved 11 people,” she said.
According to Svitlana Vodolaha, on July 8, rescuers were dispatched to seven districts of the capital. On that day, in the capital alone, over 500 calls were made to the 101 emergency line regarding missile strikes and falling debris.
“In total, rescuers worked at 18 sites. Five of them got affected the most and were the scariest – the Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital, the Adonis Children’s Medical Center, residential buildings in the Shevchenkivskyi district and the Holosiivskyi district, as well as the business center on Ushynskoho Street. That’s where people died,” said Svitlana Vodolaha.
